Mr J.A. Snipe (Denaby) and Miss M Needham (Mexborough)

Marriage of Mr John Alfred Snipe, eldest son of Mr and Mrs J Snipe, 30 Ravenfield St, Denaby Main, and Miss Martha Needham, 143, Wath Rd, Mexborough, took place at Swinton Parish Church last Monday.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a gown of white lace with a full skirt panelled with net and lace, and carried a shower bouquet of white chrysanthemums and pink carnations.

Bridesmaids were Miss Mary Vinard, Miss Violet Ellor and Miss Jean Hardy.

Best man was Mr E Needham, and Mr A Snipe was groomsman.
