Cruelty to a Pony at Denaby

John Tingle (15), pony driver, Mexborough, pleaded guilty to a breach of special colliery rules at Denaby.

The evidence was to the effect that he had hit a pony several times with a drag, causing it unnecessary suffering.

He was ordered to pay 20/–
