Black Watch Volunteer

Private A. Severns, third son of Mr.’ and Mrs. G. Severns, 36, Wood Street, Mexborough, volunteered for the Black Watch nearly six months ago, and is stationed in the North. He is in the best of health and enjoying his new life.

Private Severns has one brother a prisoner of war.

Before joining up both were employed at the Denaby and Cadeby Collieries.
