Mexborough & Swinton Times – Saturday 19 April 1941

A gown of white satin beaute and a veil of white net held by orange blossom, was worn by Miss Violet May Roberts, daughter or Mr. and the late Mrs. C. Roberts, of 56. Dolcliffe Road, Mexborough, on her marriage to Mr. Ernest Harding, son of Mr. G. Harding  of 102, Sandymount Road, Wath. at Mexborough Parish Church on Saturday.

The bride was given away by her father, and carried pink carnations. Attending her were Miss Kathleen Denham. Miss Joan Harding, Miss D. Melbourne and Miss J. Melbourne. Mr. M. Melbourne was best man and Mr. C. Mace groomsman.
