Mexborough Motorist Who “Risked It”

Nelson A. B. Huey, insurance agent, of Mexborough, was summoned at Doncaster on Tuesday for driving a motor-car at 11-10 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, without front and rear lights in Doncaster Road, Mex-borough.

P.c. Paver said defendant stopped when signalled, and said that he had had a puncture, and then the batteries ran out, so he risked driving without.

When told he would be reported, defendant said “All right.” Defendant was fined 15s. on each summons.
