Public Baths for Mexborough
£20,245 Tender Accepted
The struggle of Mexborough Urban District Council for upwards of 40 years to secure a public swimming bath for the town culminated to-night in the confirmation of a committee recommendation that the tender a Doncaster firm of £20,245 for the erection o£ a swimming bath be accepted.
The Council decided that when built the swimming baths shall be kept open throughout the year.
