Corporal King was wounded in the left arm on September 26.

Before enlistment in November 1915 he was employed at Manvers Main. His brother, Private Samuel J King (Royal Scot), 26 Blyth St, Denaby Main, reported wounded on March 28, is now reported killed on that date. He leaves a widow and three children.

They are the sons of Mr and Mrs R King, 7 Cross Gate, Mexborough, lost a son in the war 1916 and have had, all told four sons serving.
